Business empowering young Australians to reach their potential
in the future world of work
what we do
The Australian Business and Community Network is a group of almost 200 low socio-economic status schools and over 50 leading businesses and organisations, working together to address educational disadvantage through structured workplace mentoring and business/school partnerships.
Our corporate mentors support the development of students’ skills and mindsets, confidence and aspiration, so they can achieve more than they thought was possible.

The power of mentoring
The key skills and mindsets that all ABCN programs aim to develop are communication, self-management and confidence. Students in our flagship programs achieve higher than average Year 12 completion rates, while our mentors also report high levels of engagement and personal development.
Scholarships for
high-potential students
The ABCN Foundation awards scholarships to exceptional students whose disadvantage impacts their ability to complete school and pursue tertiary pathways. This three-year program provides financial assistance as well as mentoring support during Years 11, 12 and the first year post-school.
