Tony Macvean, ABCN Chair, said: ‘It is an exciting time for ABCN. We are grateful to [our former CEO] Allegra Spender for her wonderful leadership at ABCN – we have made great progress in realising our ambition to bring business and schools together to address educational disadvantage, and she has left us in a strong position.  We are growing our reach with regional and rural students, strengthening pathways from our schools into our businesses, and supporting young people to thrive in the digital future.  It is a great opportunity for the right person to lead ABCN in the next stage of its growth and evolution.’

In the interim, the Board has appointed Greg George, ABCN Head of Program Delivery, as Interim Chief Executive Officer.
