ABCN is celebrating its 10^th year of providing high impact mentoring programs to disadvantaged students across Australia. So to celebrate, we are launching our first ever fundraising campaign #10for10 for the ABCN Scholarship Foundation. We will be asking each ABCN mentor to donate just $10 to celebrate ABCN’s 10^th anniversary and allow the Foundation to award more scholarships to exceptional students facing financial, family or social challenges.

We’ve clocked up an incredible 244,000 volunteer hours over the past decade and the results speak for themselves. Last year alone, 100% of teachers would recommend our programs, 91% of mentors felt more positive about their employer after taking part in our programs and 93% of GOALS students showed improved communication skills and confidence.

The outcomes for the first year of the Scholarship program for our inaugural scholarship recipients are equally impressive – with 100% of scholars reporting that as a result of the program they have a greater knowledge of the skills needed to be a leader and 82% reporting a greater motivation to succeed.

An ABCN scholarship is worth $10,000 and provides a student with financial and mentoring support for years 11, 12 and their first year of tertiary education.

If all ABCN mentors in 2015 give just $10 we will be able to award an additional 4 scholarships to outstanding students this year! All money raised before 30 June will create more scholarships to be awarded to students this November.

The #10for10 campaign will be running throughout the year to celebrate our birthday and we look forward to sharing the success of the campaign with you.
